Hi there! I'm Naomi.

I'm a recent 2025 graduate from UC Davis, having double-majored in Design and Psychology.

I am interested in designing visual interfaces, experimenting with motion graphics, and playing with color and typography.

Whether it's building clean and functional designs or learning a new application, I love exploring how design can both feel good and look good.

my design story

I started designing at a young age out of curiosity and fascination with the visuals I encountered every day: product labels, billboards, shop branding, murals, and more. When I chose to study Psychology alongside Design, I began to understand that great design isn’t just about looking good—it’s about being intuitive, human-centered, and emotionally resonant. Now, I get to bring my childhood dreams to reality by creating designs that are shaped by both the inspirations of the past and a deeper understanding of what makes them effective and beautiful.

what i love to make

I gravitate toward visual storytelling—especially through interfaces, motion, and type. I love turning static screens into interactive experiences and infusing energy into digital spaces with color and rhythm. I’m happiest when I’m iterating, testing, and refining until the design just clicks.

beyond the canvas

When I'm not working on design projects, I like to bike around my neighborhood, try (and sometimes fail at) baking new recipes, doodle cute things, play video games with my friends, and sing sappy songs to myself.
